Start with a defined basis and responsibility boundary.
Delivery is not completion. A greenhouse project becomes operational through verified site readiness, controlled installation, system commissioning, operator training, documentation and a managed handover into the first crop cycle.
Make responsibilities explicit
The contract should identify who completes foundations, utilities, unloading, storage, local labour, lifting, assembly, electrical and plumbing connections, permits, safety coordination and site security. Gaps between supplier and local scope create delay and claims.
Commission the connected system
Structure, ventilation, screens, pumps, filters, dosing, sensors, controls, alarms and backup procedures must be checked individually and together. Settings, calibration results, defects and corrective actions should be recorded before acceptance.
Train for daily operation
Training should match actual roles: management, crop steering, irrigation, climate, scouting, hygiene, harvest, maintenance and emergency response. A demonstration is not enough; operators need supervised practice, manuals and clear escalation routes.

Inputs that change design, price or operation.
These facts should be established during qualification and refined through feasibility and engineering. Missing inputs must remain visible as assumptions rather than being hidden inside a precise-looking budget.

Training and commissioning reduce risk but do not guarantee crop or commercial performance. Results still depend on climate, crop decisions, timely inputs, management discipline, technical continuity and market execution.
