The FlowGrow Tunnel is the most accessible route for modular protected cultivation where simple operation, phased investment and physical compartmentalization matter more than maximum environmental control. It can suit a first commercial step, a distributed grower program or a farm that wants to add production in manageable units.

How it must be operated

Tunnel performance depends on disciplined basic horticulture: reliable water, uniform irrigation, ventilation management, crop hygiene, frequent scouting and timely harvest. Repeating small structures increases the number of beds, plants, irrigation lines and crop-work routes that must be managed. The operating plan must therefore test total labour, water, plant material and crop-protection exposure—not only the low structure cost.

Risk and resilience

Separated tunnels can limit the physical reach of storm damage, disease or an irrigation problem, but simpler climate protection gives less control over heat, humidity, season length and market timing. The model is strongest when the operator understands that distributed robustness and lower technical dependency are purchased with more area and more routine crop work.
