GrowPro modular glass greenhouses
A permanent greenhouse platform built to grow with the operation.
GrowPro combines a durable glasshouse structure with crop-specific climate, water and production systems. Basic creates a professional entry point; Expert supports commercial hydroponics; Plus becomes a fully integrated production facility.
The GrowPro proposition
Professional from the first module. Expandable without changing the development logic.
GrowPro is developed for growers, investors, institutions and food-production programmes that need more than crop protection. It provides a structured route into controlled production, beginning with a manageable unit and developing toward larger, computer-controlled operations.
The glasshouse is the durable envelope. Production performance comes from the systems around it: ventilation, screening, irrigation, fertigation, water treatment, crop support, heating or cooling, automation, labour flow and post-harvest handling. These are selected around the crop, local climate, market and available operating capability.
Modules are prepared for organised local assembly under technical supervision. Expansion can add growing area, service space and technical capacity while preserving the original site logic.
Three investment levels
Start at the level the operation can support.
The difference is not only size. Each step increases crop capability, climate control, water management, automation and organisational responsibility.

Technical architecture
A greenhouse is the integration of structure, crop and operation.
Structure & envelope
Galvanized steel and aluminium greenhouse components, horticultural glass, gutters, façades, doors and project-specific foundations.
Ventilation & screening
Roof ventilation, insect protection and one or more screen systems sized from climate, crop and airflow requirements.
Water & fertigation
Source-water assessment, storage, filtration, dosing, irrigation distribution, drain capture and treatment selected as one water strategy.
Growing system
Soil beds, substrate slabs, gutters, benches, hydroponic channels or crop-specific layouts with the required support and access.
Climate & energy
Heating, cooling, fogging, air movement, dehumidification, lighting and CO₂ are included only where the crop-economic case supports them.
Automation & data
Sensors, controls, alarms, remote monitoring, crop registration and performance reporting increase from Basic through Plus.
Service & logistics
Water room, electrical area, fertilizer storage, crop handling, packing, cooling and staff functions are scaled with the operation.
Operations
Crop protocols, commissioning, training, maintenance planning and management development turn the installation into a working business.
What standardisation means
Defined building blocks. No false certainty.
GrowPro and FlowGrow establish a repeatable technical and commercial framework. Final dimensions, structural loads, ventilation capacity, cooling, heating, water treatment and crop equipment are engineered for the project location.
- Local wind, snow and seismic codes determine structural engineering.
- Crop and market determine the growing system—not the model name alone.
- Water balance and water quality are confirmed before irrigation design.
- Energy-intensive systems require a location-specific operating-cost case.
- Yield, ROI and payback are outcomes of feasibility and operation, never fixed product guarantees.
This description consolidates the GrowPro knowledge developed on the original DutchAgriTech platform and completes the Plus level as an integrated commercial production model.
System questions
Direct answers before project qualification.
What is the difference between GrowPro Basic, Expert and Plus?
Basic is a professional entry system for protected soil and selected compact crops. Expert adds commercial hydroponics, crop support and automated climate control. Plus integrates the greenhouse, water, climate, energy, logistics and operating data for larger professional production.
Is every GrowPro greenhouse fully automated?
No. Automation increases with the selected level and project need. Basic uses essential controls; Expert normally includes a climate computer; Plus can coordinate the complete production environment.
Can GrowPro be assembled locally?
Yes. The system is modular and intended for organised local assembly under technical supervision. Foundations, loads and installation procedures remain project-specific.
Does GrowPro guarantee a fixed ROI or yield?
No. Yield, ROI and payback depend on crop, location, market, energy, water, labour, management and financing. These outcomes must be tested through feasibility.
From model to project
Confirm crop, climate, water, market and operating team before fixing the package.
A greenhouse opportunity to discuss?
